I, like the rest of the world, fell in love with the Balenciaga halo tiara from the SS13 runway show, and definitely wanted something similar, as a simple, clean summer accessory.
Here’s a super easy and quick way to acquire your very own, or you can always buy the original if you’d like!
You will need a hot glue gun (or very strong craft cement glue), a simple hair comb accessory, and a necklace/jewelry item that has a rod/bar detail, preferably curved. I got this one from Forever 21 last week and they should still have them at the store. Here’s a similar one.
Remove the bar (I removed the little gold piece so that I could still use it on the necklace chain).
Carefully cut the comb in half with your hands or scissors because you want to avoid the piece from looking too overwhelmed by the comb part.
Place glue on the back of the comb and quickly press onto the inside curved area of one end of the bar.
Repeat on the other side and hold the bar down onto the comb parts.
Once the glue is dry, you’re ready to style your very own halo tiara to various hair styles!
